Agenda y encuadres noticiosos sobre el sujeto juvenil en los diarios Noticias de la Costa y Río Negro

Abstract

En este trabajo se presentan algunos resultados del proyecto de investigación “Políticas de visibilidad y agendas de lo juvenil en Viedma” que se desarrolla en el CURZA, Universidad Nacional del Comahue, que busca conocer el lugar que ocupa la cuestión juvenil en la agenda de los principales diarios de la ciudad de Viedma, y analizar los encuadres noticiosos utilizados por dichos medios para configurar al sujeto juvenil y sus problemáticas. Se parte de los lineamientos teórico metodológicos planteados en la teoría de la Agenda Setting y la Teoría del Encuadre. La Teoría de la Agenda Setting centra su atención sobre el proceso de formación de las agendas pública, política y mediática. La teoría del Encuadre o Framing, considera que los medios a través de la presentación de noticias, construyen significados de la realidad que repercuten en las audiencias. Aquí se analizan las coberturas periodísticas de acontecimientos que involucran a los jóvenes en dos medios gráficos, Noticias de la Costa y Río Negro, y el recorte temporal fue entre los meses de mayo, junio y julio de 2016. Este trabajo realiza un abordaje exploratorio de la presencia del frame “Atribución de responsabilidades” en las noticias sobre “Violencia”, “Educación” y “Salud”.

This paper presents some results of the research project"Visibility policies and youth agendas in Viedma" that is developed in the CURZA, National University of Comahue, which seeks to know the place of the youth issue in the agenda of the main newspapers of the city of Viedma, and analyze the news frames usedby these means to configure the juvenile subject and its problems. It starts from the theoretical-methodological guidelines proposed in the theory of the Agenda Setting and the Theory of the Framework. The Theory of the Agenda Setting focuses its attention on the process of formation of the public, political and media agendas. The theory of Framing, considers that the media through the presentation of news, construct meanings of reality that affect the audience. Here we analyze the journalistic coverage ofevents involving young people in two graphic media, Noticias de la Costa and Río Negro, and the temporary cut was between the months of May, June and July 2016. This work explores the presence of the frame "Attribution of responsibilities" in the news about "Violence", "Education" and "Health".
